Douglas Whichard is a highly experienced environmental scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Citadel EHS since May 2024. Previously, Douglas managed water quality as the Interim Water Quality Program Manager at California Water Service from November 2022 to April 2024, ensuring compliance with drinking water regulations across seven public water systems in Northern California. Douglas's career also includes roles as a Senior Scientist and Project Scientist at RMD Environmental Solutions, Inc., and as a Senior Staff Scientist and Staff Geologist at Apex Companies, LLC. Earlier experience includes work as an Environmental Sampling Technician at Blaine Tech Services. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Physical Geography from UC Santa Barbara, obtained in 2012.
