Jake Schmidt

Jake Schmidt is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in quantitative development and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Quant Developer in Global Quantitative Strategies at Citadel since August 2019, Jake previously held positions as a Software Engineer at BlueMountain Capital Management, where contributions included the primary development of Blockstore2, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Uber, focusing on the business logic for UberRUSH. Jake's career also includes significant roles at Google, where work involved web-based tools for customer review workflows, and an internship at Duke University, where innovative computer vision software was developed for media applications. Jake Schmidt earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Duke University in 2011.
