Junfan Yang

Junfan Yang is a highly experienced technology professional with a focus on high-frequency trading and financial technology. Currently serving as a High Frequency Technology Associate at Citadel LLC since February 2014, Junfan previously completed a Financial Technology Associate Program within the same organization in 2013, working in the Front Office Core Technology department to develop middleware data hubs. Prior to Citadel, Junfan held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Project Manager at Shanghai Futures Information Technology Co., Ltd, where responsibilities included designing risk management systems for the Shanghai Futures Exchange. Experience also includes software engineering at Pioneer Suntec Electronic Technology Co., Ltd, where a new binary data format was developed to enhance navigator performance, and an internship at the First Research Institute of Ministry of Public Security of China, focused on algorithm design for digital watermarking. Junfan holds a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Information Security Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
