Justin Schmidt

Justin Schmidt is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Citadel since December 2021. Prior to this role, Justin held the position of Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where the focus was on U.S. power trading in Eastern markets, and at Morgan Stanley, specializing in electricity trading across MISO, PJM, and SPP markets. Justin's career began at Navigant Consulting, Inc. as an Energy Efficiency and Policy Consultant and includes earlier internships with Exelon Power Team in project evaluation and risk analytics. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earned in 2010.
