Matthew Render

Matthew Render is an accomplished finance and accounting executive with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School since May 2019, Matthew teaches in the Masters of Accountancy Program. As Head of Finance Transformation at Citadel LLC since June 2018, Matthew leads global teams focused on Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Accounting Technology. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer for BP Cherry Point and various leadership positions at BP and Ernst & Young, where Matthew worked with major multinational corporations across diverse sectors. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
