Michael Furman is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as the Compliance Officer for Citadel Global Equities and Ashler Capital since March 2020. In this role, Michael leads the Advisory Compliance function and acts as the Subject Matter Expert for compliance within two major multibillion-dollar long/short equity businesses. Previously, Michael held the position of Vice President and Compliance Manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where responsibilities included overseeing Material Non-Public Information and managing compliance-related processes. Michael began in the compliance field at PIMCO as the first Trading Compliance Associate in the New York office, followed by experience as an Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank and a Global Data Intern at Bloomberg LP. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Literature from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
