Sam Butler

Sam Butler is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and trading. Currently serving as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Citadel since April 2023, Sam previously held various positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from June 2016 to April 2023, including Vice President and Short End Swaps Trader. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Security Analysis and Valuation from Yale School of Management and a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Additionally, Sam co-founded the UCD Student Managed Investment Fund, providing peers with hands-on experience in trading and asset management.
