Currently serving as the Head of Basis Trading at Citadel LLC since January 2016, Sam previously held the position of Director - Commodity Derivatives Trader at BNP Paribas Commodity Derivatives Americas from July 2008 to December 2015, focusing on natural gas trading across various U.S. regions and specializing in fundamental analysis and asset optimization. Earlier roles included Business Development Manager and International Management Trainee at Fortis Global Energy & Commodities Group from June 2005 to June 2008.
