Serena L. has extensive experience in quantitative and alternative data research within the finance sector. Currently serving in Alternative Data Research at Citadel since April 2021, Serena focuses on consumer data-driven alpha research. Prior experience includes a role in Quantitative Equity Research at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where research concentrated on global equities and alpha models. Serena also gained valuable insights as an Equity Research Summer Intern at MFS Investment Management and as an Equity Research Intern at ChinaRock Capital, a spin-off hedge fund of Farallon Capital. Serena holds a Master's Degree in Quantitative Methods and Social Science with a concentration in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University, along with educational experience at Emory University.
