Industry Analyst - Secondment at CITB

Dana Sheanon has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Dana started their career as a Pharmacy Assistant at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust in 2007. Dana then became a Student Pharmacy Technician and later a Rotational Pharmacy Technician at the same organization. In 2014, Dana joined Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where they held roles as a Pharmacy Technician in Clinical Services and later as a Senior Pharmacy Technician in Clinical Services. In 2017, they moved to Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust as a Medicines Management Technician. Dana then joined United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust as a Medicines Optimisation and Safety Lead in 2018. In 2019, they returned to Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust as an Accredited Checking Technician and later transitioned into the role of a Researcher. Currently, they are on secondment at CITB as an Industry Analyst.

Dana Sheanon's education history includes attending Spalding High School from 2003 to 2005, during which they obtained 9 GCSEs. From 2005 to 2007, Dana continued their education at Spalding High School and took Psychology A-Level and Sociology A-Level courses. In terms of additional certifications, Dana obtained the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) from the Association for Project Management in February 2023. Dana also earned certifications in Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019) from Microsoft in June 2021, Market Research Society (MRS) Certificate in Market Research in April 2020 from the Market Research Society (MRS), Medicines Management Skills from the University of East Anglia in November 2016, and Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician from the University of East Anglia in June 2011.
