James Marsh

Senior Policy Adviser (built Environment, Construction & Skills Policy)

James Marsh is a Senior Policy Adviser at CITB since December 2021, specializing in Built Environment, Construction & Skills Policy, with key areas of focus including Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs), localism, UK Net Zero initiatives, and careers policy. Prior to this role, James served in various capacities at Policy Research Unit, Ltd., starting as an Intern in 2017 and progressing to Policy Adviser and later Policy and Strategy Lead, where responsibilities included mentoring junior team members and providing expert parliamentary assistance. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in European Law from Maastricht University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Warwick.
