Rupert Perkins

Rupert Perkins is an experienced construction industry leader, serving as the Managing Director and Owner of John Perkins Construction Ltd since October 1998. In addition to this role, Rupert has held various significant positions, including Independent Non-Executive Director at B&CE since May 2022 and Industry Funding Committee Member at CITB since October 2017. Rupert has been an Ambassador and Non-Executive Director for the Considerate Constructors Scheme since October 2013, and Non-Executive Director of The Building Safety Group since April 2012. As President of the South West Builders Federation since October 2016, Rupert has also contributed to the National Federation of Builders in several capacities, including Finance Chair and National Chair. Rupert began a career in construction as a Site Engineer at Taylor Woodrow from September 1990 to September 1998. Educationally, Rupert holds a BSc Hons in Building Engineering and Management from the University of the West of England.
