Sharon Brown

Sharon Brown has extensive experience in educational and advisory roles, currently serving as the CITB Employer Network Manager for Greater Manchester and previously as a CITB Adviser for the Liverpool City Region since July 2016. Prior to this, Sharon worked as a Lecturer at Southport College from September 2012 to September 2013, focusing on BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Extended Public Services. Sharon's career at CITB also includes roles as Strategy Coordinator and Equality Adviser for the North West from December 2002 to June 2007. Additionally, Sharon spent nearly a decade at Merseyside Police from October 1987 to April 1997. Sharon holds a CPE in Law from the University of Central Lancashire, a PTLLS in Education from Bolton College, and a BA (Hons) in Women's Studies from Edge Hill University.
