Gerry Gilbert

Gerry Gilbert is the Vice President, Head of Product & Merchant Technology at Citcon. Prior to joining Citcon, Gerry served as the Vice President, Global Commerce Services & Customer Experience at Blackhawk Network.

Gerry Gilbert has over 20 years of experience in product management and technology. Gerry began their career as a software engineer, before moving into product management roles at various tech companies. In 2017, Gerry joined Blackhawk Network following the CashStar acquisition. In this role, they led a team of 40+ product managers and UX staff, while reporting to the CTO. Gerry was also responsible for a portfolio of 50 products generating over $1B in revenue across retail, e-commerce, card issuances, merchant processing, onboarding, and activation categories.

In addition to their role at Blackhawk Network, Gerry also served on the extended executive management team, working directly with the CEO on product roadmaps and strategy. During their time at Blackhawk Network, Gerry was responsible for integrating CashStar products and migrating enterprise customers to the Blackhawk ecosystem post acquisition. Gerry also decreased time to purchase by 20% and raised funnel conversion by 10%, leading to a $5M revenue increase by migrating 300 client accounts from traditional to a mobile-designed e-commerce experience. Gerry also delivered a 50% increase in conversion and substantial revenue lift by improving the giftcards.com website.

In 2018, Blackhawk Network was acquired by Silverlake. Following the acquisition, Gerry

Gerry Gilbert received a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Anselm College and certification from Intuit in Agile Certified Product Manager and Product Owner Credential (ACPM).

Gerry Gilbert reports to Chuck Huang, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Wei Jiang - President & COO, Haitao Xin - VP, Engineering, and Andrew Meimes - GM, APAC.
