Reno Wang

Reno Wang is a seasoned professional in product strategy and development with extensive experience across various roles in technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Director and Head of Product Strategies and Partnerships at CITCON since February 2024, Reno co-founded Whal, an investment management app, from July 2023 to February 2024, focusing on AI-powered financial reporting. Prior roles include General Manager of APAC Business at Hopper, where Reno expanded operations in the Asia-Pacific region and built a sizeable team, and Director at Alipay, leading the North American acquiring business. Past experiences also encompass leadership positions at Alibaba Group, where Reno managed international air ticket businesses, and Sabre Corporation, providing operations research solutions to airlines. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Operations Research and Systems Engineering from Boston University and a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
