Carl Cornilsen

Carl Cornilsen has been working in the field since 2007. Carl began their career as an Architectural Designer at Ideas Collaborative. In 2012, they took on a role as an Acquisitions Summer Associate at Empire Cornerstone, LLC, where they independently sourced an investment that realized a 2-year/1.68x return on exit (28.8% IRR). Carl also worked as an Architectural Designer at Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects that same year. In 2013, they returned to Empire Cornerstone, LLC as a Summer Associate. In 2014, they took on the role of Development Associate at EDENS : Connective Retail. Since 2015, they have been working as Co-Founder & COO at Citiesense.

Carl Cornilsen completed their Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2005. Carl went on to receive a Master of Architecture from Yale University's School of Architecture in 2016. Lastly, they obtained an MBA from the Yale School of Management in 2016, with a focus in Real Estate and Finance.
