Cesar Gomez

Cesar Gomez is currently an IT Solutions Consultant at CITIG. Prior to that, they worked as a Presales Network Engineer at Curvature from August 2015 to June 2020. In their role as a Presales Network Engineer, Cesar was responsible for analyzing networking requests from customers, sourcing hardware products, and quoting for sales representatives. Cesar was also responsible for educating sales representatives and clients with networking hardware, protocols/features, and designs. In addition, Cesar provided technical analysis for Cisco networking hardware for marketing campaigns and created monthly Cisco End of Life Notifications for popular Cisco gear.

Before their role as a Presales Network Engineer, Cesar was a Product Associate Specialist at Curvature from November 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing and parsing command outputs from Cisco Networking, Brocade Fibre Channel Networking, and Juniper Networking assets. Cesar was also responsible for identifying qualifying parent/child model numbers for Curvature third-party maintenance (TPM) and providing any caveats.

Cesar began their career at Curvature as an Associate Presales Engineer in May 2018 before being promoted to Presales Engineer in August 2015. In their role as a Presales Engineer, Cesar was responsible for creating networking Build of Materials (BOMs) based on client requirements. Cesar was also responsible for constantly studying and staying up to date with networking equipment, predominantly Cisco networking equipment but also including Fortinet, HPE Networking, Dell Networking, Aruba, Brocade Fibre Channel Networking, Juniper, Arista, Check Point, APC, and Opengear.

Cesar Gomez holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. Cesar also holds certifications from Cisco in CCNA and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA).
