Murray Simser

Murray Simser is an experienced business leader who has held various roles in the public and private sectors since 1999. Murray began their career in 1999 as the Founder, Chief Client Officer, Head of Canada and EMEA subsidiaries for eAssist Global Solutions, a cloud-based CRM software company. In 2001, they became the Vice President of Business Development for SinglePoint, a Wireless Services Corp that pioneered interoperability of SMS platforms. In 2002, they founded and became President of One Source Partners LLP, a company that focused on off-shoring to lower cost locations. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Worldwide Director of Incubation for Microsoft Services, where they led a team that integrated newly acquired companies into the mainstream of Microsoft's business model. During this time, they also served on the Board of Directors for the University of Ottawa Alumni Association. In 2009, they began taking on various roles as Chairman, Director, CEO, or President for public and private companies. In 2016, they became President, CEO, and Board of Directors for Deploy Technologies Inc., a public company that they reorganized and recapitalized. In 2012, they became President, CEO, and Board of Directors for Stealth Analytics Software, another public company that they recapitalized. In 2018, they founded and became CEO of CITIZN, a social network that generates capital to eliminate Maslow's level 1 and 2 needs. Finally, in 2021 they became a Startup Mentor and Adjunct Professor at IE Business School.

Murray Simser completed their Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Ottawa in 1998.
