China International Travel Service Limited Head Office (CITS, known as China International Travel Service Head Office Before March, 2008) was established on 15th, April, 1954.

Based on several generations’ efforts, CITS has become the top one in China’s travelling service groups, with an accumulated attraction and reception of more than 10 million foreign tourists. The logo “CITS” has been registered in more than 60 countries and regions, becoming a world famous trademark. In addition to the famous “CITS” inbound tourism products, CITS is also operating “Total Travel” outbound tourism products as well as “CITS vacation” domestic tourism products, forming a complete series of tourism products. As a member of PATA, IATA, ASTA, WTTC and the only enterprise member of World Tourism Organization, CITS ranked the top in China tourism industry and is listed among 500 top Chinese enterprises, with numerous awards from the state and Beijing municipal government such as “Best enterprise”, “Award for most foreign currency profit travel company” and “Award for most oversea employees travel company”.

At the current time CITS has more than 40 wholly owned and holding subsidiaries worldwide (14 foreign subsidiaries over 9 countries and regions) and has set up stable cooperative relationship with more than 1400 travel agencies around the world, being assigned as the only travel service supplier of many well-known enterprises.
