David Ling

David Ling currently serves as the Global Head of Hospitality Investment within the Executive Chairman's Office at City Developments Limited since January 2022. Prior to this role, David was the Managing Director of Hotels and Hospitality for Asia Pacific at CBRE from September 2021 to March 2022. David held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Pan Pacific Hotels Group from October 2019 to September 2021 and previously led strategic development at CDL Hospitality Trusts (M&C Reit Management Ltd) from 2014 to October 2019. David's career began at Jones Lang LaSalle as Senior Vice President for Asia from 1992 to 2004 and included a decade as Chairman for East Asia at HVS from 2004 to 2014. Academically, David holds a Master of Science in Urban Land Appraisal from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Business (Distinction) in Valuation and Land Economy from Curtin University.
