City Ideas is an initiative that convenes policymakers and entrepreneurs from culture, creativity, innovation, design, education, design, and sustainability to exchange ideas and help cities promote shared future prosperity. 
 
Leaders in business and policy come together through City Ideas to explore the latest innovations in their sector, share ideas and best practices, collaborate, and do business; creating ideas that promote creative and sustainable urban futures. 
 
The event was established in Chengdu, as an outcome of the World Cities Culture Forum - Tianfu Symposium, and is building a network of creative world cities, all with the shared ambition of harnessing growth in areas of the new economy.
