City String Ensemble (CSE) is a premier London-based string collective founded at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Known for its technical excellence and stylistic breadth, the ensemble has become a prominent fixture in both the UK recording industry and the luxury event circuit.

Studio & Artistic Collaborations
CSE is frequently engaged by composers and producers to provide high-level string performance for major commercial and cinematic projects. Notable credits include the reinterpreted soundtrack for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the original motion picture score for Universe 25, and studio sessions for recording artist 070 Shake. The ensemble’s reputation is built on its ability to move fluidly between genres, offering a sophisticated sound that complements the vision of the modern recording artist.

Luxury Events & Brand Activations
The ensemble is a leading provider of live music for high-profile brand activations and private celebrations at London’s most prestigious venues, including The Savoy, The V&A Museum, and Wembley Park. Their repertoire is one of the most extensive in the country, featuring everything from contemporary "Bridgerton-style" arrangements to the world’s only dedicated library of Persian wedding music for string quartet.

Artistic Reach & Discography
Beyond their work as session performers, CSE is an established recording entity with over 600,000 streams on Spotify. Their discography—including CSE Performs Taylor Swift and Best of Anime—showcases their signature ability to fuse classical technique with the rhythmic vitality of pop, rock, and jazz.

Whether in the studio or on the stage, City String Ensemble delivers world-class string performance tailored to the highest standards of the creative industries.
