Simon Affolter

Simon Affolter is currently the Secrétaire municipal at Ville de Lausanne, a position held since 2015. Prior to this role, Simon gained diverse legal experience, including serving as a greffier ad hoc at the Tribunal de district de Lausanne and completing lawyer internships at Tribunal d'arrondissement Frutigen-Niedersimmental and Etude d'avocat Bratschi, Emch und Partner. Simon also worked as Délégué aux affaires intercantonales et européennes for the Etat de Vaud from 2006 to 2015 and was an assistant at the Université de Lausanne's centre de droit comparé et européen in the mid-1990s. Simon holds a Master en droit from the University of Lausanne and a Master en administration publique from the Université de Lausanne, in addition to obtaining a Brevet d'avocat from the Canton de Berne.
