Tom Collins

Tom Collins is currently working as a Research Expert at Citymesh, specializing in IoT, cloud, APIs, virtualization, and data engineering for various R&D&I projects related to new 5G features, OpenRAN, and other technological endeavors. Previously, Tom held positions such as Solutions Lead at PulseLabs and Freelancer in IoT design & development at C4IOT. Tom has a diverse background in technology and innovation, having been involved in projects related to Industrial IoT, preventative maintenance, smart city initiatives, and more. With a Doctorate in Computer Science & Engineering from Ghent University and other degrees in technology-based business development and computing science, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.
