The CITYPAK Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing custom-designed, high-quality backpacks to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing transition due to natural disasters. Founded by music industry executive Ron Kaplan and supported by exclusive manufacturing partners Samsonite and High Sierra, CITYPAK collaborates with nonprofit and community organizations around the world to distribute durable, thoughtfully crafted packs that offer not only practical support but also dignity, safety, and connection. Now in its 12th year, CITYPAK has distributed more than 120,000 PAKs across the U.S. and globally—each one designed to meet the unique needs of life on the move. Through meaningful partnerships and a commitment to compassion, CITYPAK continues to create impact—one backpack, and one human connection, at a time.
