Tomás Steinacker is the Gerente General of Ciudad Luz Development, a company focused on the comprehensive development of distributed solar energy projects, currently overseeing a team of 70 professionals across Chile, Colombia, and Paraguay. With over 11 years of commercial operation, Ciudad Luz has developed more than 100 MW of projects and manages over 80 MW in assets and O&M contracts. Prior to this role, Tomás served as a Business Analyst and Project Engineer at Shell, and was a Partner at Valor Sustentable, where they developed corporate sustainability strategies and managed renewable energy projects. Tomás holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge.
