We provide dedicated expertise for nonprofits that need help. We’re a not-for-profit tech consultancy staffed with full time software engineers.

We analyze our client’s workflows and identify places where software can help. Whether that’s using their current tools more effectively, buying a new tool off the shelf, or having one custom built perfectly for their needs, we help put nonprofits in a better position for success.

Civic Software Initiative was founded to facilitate higher impact from nonprofit work, taking on technical challenges at affordable, pay-what-you-can, and pro-bono rates, propelling civic missions forward for the betterment of all in our community.

+ We maximize nonprofits’ efforts with time-saving software tools, be they custom-built or recommended off-the-shelf products
+ We advise on ways nonprofits can improve the utility of their current technologies
+ We are expert problem solvers that can tackle the problems nonprofits do not know how to otherwise manage or solve

There are so many easy wins out there that nonprofits are failing to benefit from simply due to the lack of folks involved with the right backgrounds to identify them. We want to help identify and bring in those wins so that the members of our community can benefit from more efficient and impactful nonprofit programs.
