Moe Akel is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community engagement, public health, and research. With a background in clinical and medical laboratory science from the American University of Beirut and a Master's degree in Climate Change from the University of Waterloo, Moe has held various leadership roles, including Project Coordinator and Research Assistant at the Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention and Community Advisor for the National SOGIESC Guideline Project at the Centre for Newcomers. Currently, Moe is the Founder and Podcast Host of Prideful Narratives, ABRPO Director at Fife House, and a Public Appointee of The Ontario Advisory Committee on HIV/AIDS, providing strategic advice on HIV-related issues. Additionally, Moe serves as a DEIB Consultant and is involved with various initiatives promoting inclusivity and community support.
