Daniel Goodwin

Daniel Goodwin has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel is currently working as the Associate Director of Front End Engineering at CivicActions since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Front End Engineer at CivicActions from September 2021 to January 2022. Daniel also served as a Web Application Developer at the UNC School of Government from April 2020 to June 2021. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer - III at NETE from April 2019 to March 2020. Daniel also has experience as a Senior Web Application Developer at MCNC from July 2012 to April 2019. Additionally, they have worked as a freelance Web Developer and owned their own business from March 2011 to July 2012. Before that, they were a Network Engineer/Developer at Corstar Communications from August 2011 to May 2012. Daniel also worked as a Production Manager/Web Developer at 33Delivered from October 2009 to March 2011. Daniel started their career as a Systems Administrator at Tidewater Wholesalers Inc in May 2004 and worked there until July 2008. Daniel has demonstrated expertise in web development, software engineering, and IT support throughout their career.

Daniel Goodwin earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Christopher Newport University, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications. Daniel obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Web Accessibility from edX in June 2022, a JLPT N5 Japanese Language Certification from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services in January 2022, and an Acquia Certified Developer - Drupal 8 certification from Acquia in February 2019.
