Eric Premack

Eric Premack began their career in public policy as a Senior Fiscal & Policy Analyst for the Office of the Legislative Analyst, California Legislature. In this role, they provided non-partisan analysis on major K-12 education finance and policy matters for the California Legislature.

In 1992, Eric transitioned to the private sector, joining School Services of California, Inc. as their Associate Director. In this role, they provided management consulting services to hundreds of California school districts and county offices of education. Eric specialized in financial management, district management/governance, labor relations, legislative policy, school district unifications/mergers, financial crisis intervention/recovery, and related issues.

Eric has been with CIVICORPS since 1995, where they currently serve as their Director.

Eric Premack completed their Master of Arts in Public Policy at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Prior to that, they completed their A.B. in Politics, Economics, Rhetoric & Law (PERL) at the University of Chicago.
