Matthew Compton

Matthew Compton is a seasoned sales professional currently serving as Sales Development Manager at CivicPlus since June 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Sales Development Representative at ArchiveSocial, an Optimere brand, from February 2021 to December 2021 and later became the SDR Training Manager at Optimere, starting in December 2021. Matthew has extensive experience in leadership and program direction from time spent with the Boy Scouts of America between January 2012 and November 2020, where responsibilities included serving as Program Director for two different councils and a sea base. Educational qualifications include a BA in History and Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College, where Matthew studied from 2006 to 2010, and prior studies at Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2006. Additional roles included teaching and directorship positions in various educational and recreational settings.
