Erin Turnmeyer

VP, People Operations at Civis Analytics

Erin Turnmeyer is currently the VP of People Operations at Civis Analytics. Prior to that, they served as Talent Development Manager and Talent Management Manager at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from 2009 to 2018. In these roles, Erin was responsible for strategic initiatives under the Human Resource department, producing the organization's first workforce study on cross-directorate occupations, needs, and risks. Erin also developed and implemented a talent plan that ensured the organization had the right talent to deliver on national security objectives. Additionally, Erin was responsible for the development and launching of a new promotion process that aligned the organization with performance standards, resulting in a streamlined, clear approach that supervisors and employees better understood. Thanks to Erin's hard work and dedication, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence was able to better identify talent gaps and implement programs to address them.

Erin Turnmeyer is a National Security Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School. Erin also holds a Master of Arts from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University. Erin is certified in Creating a High Performance Culture and Working with High-Conflict People as a Manager from LinkedIn, and they are certified in Brain Based Coaching from the NeuroLeadership Institute.
