Not for profit, non-partisan and nongovernmental organization established in 1996 (re-registered in 1999). It operates at national and regional (Black Sea Region) level, targeting mainly rural communities outside the capital city to create social capital and better living conditions and advance public participation in local decision-making.
Civitas Georgica has already conducted up to 60 large and small-scale projects in sectors including public sector reform, local government capacity building, regional/community development, civic and youth participation, pre-school education, child rights and advocacy.
