Renae Smart

Renae Smart has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Renae began their career as a Senior Consultant at Fusion5 NZ Ltd in 2005. Renae then worked as a Consultant and Business Solutions Manager at Epicor Software before joining |BST Global as a Business Consultant. In 2010, they became a Project Manager at Waikato District Health Board, overseeing various projects that led to significant improvements and cost savings. Renae also had a role as a Board Trustee at Career Moves and served as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at Te Kowhai School. Renae later became a Director at Civtec Ltd, a fast-growing infrastructure construction company, where they also served as the Chief Executive. Renae has also worked as an Independent Advisor at GRIT Engineering Ltd and as a Director at Braemar Hospital. Additionally, Renae has served as a Board Trustee for BRAEMAR CHARITABLE TRUST.

Renae Smart obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies with a focus on Human Resources and Communication from The University of Waikato between 1998 and 2001. In 2018, Renae completed the Owner Manager Programme (OMP44) at The Icehouse. Additionally, Renae became a Chartered Member in Governance at the Institute of Directors in New Zealand in 2016.
