Don Savant

Don Savant is the Chief Executive Officer of CJ 4DPLEX America’s. They previously served as President Global Sales at IMAX from 2016 to 2019, leading record sales and developing over 60% of IMAX’s theatre network over 19 years. They were Managing Director, Asia Pacific & President - IMAX China, where they established the Shanghai office in 2001, developed the largest premium network in China/Asia, and were a key executive in the USD$1.45 billion IPO launch on the HK stock exchange; they also led the first IMAX DMR conversion of a non-Hollywood film in China, Japan, Korea and India, and developed the strategy for the IMAX CEO Forum in Napa in 2013. Earlier, they were Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing at Iwerks Entertainment from 1987 to 2000, developing 65 film-based attractions in Asia Pacific, including 13 in China.
