Jonathan Roberts

Jonathan Roberts is the Director of External Affairs at The CLA, where they oversee public affairs, PR, and communications for the organization representing 27,000 landowners and rural businesses across England and Wales. With 14 years of experience in political and industry communications, Jonathan has successfully managed various communications initiatives and earned multiple accolades, including a Mark of Excellence for Best PR Campaign in 2015 and the Best Team to Work For award in 2013. Previously, they held positions such as Senior Parliamentary Officer for Huw Irranca-Davies MP and Director of Communications at the UK Chamber of Shipping, where they significantly increased media coverage and web traffic while achieving key policy successes. Jonathan holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Loughborough University, where they also served as Vice President of the Students Union.
