Matthew Doran

Matthew Doran is currently a Land Use Policy Adviser specializing in climate change and water at the Country Land and Business Association (CLA), where they develop policy recommendations and represent members’ interests. Matthew graduated with a First in BA Geography from the University of Oxford in August 2022, having excelled in both exams and coursework. They previously served as Education Director for the Oxford Climate Society, curating a crash course in climate science delivered to 1,400 participants worldwide. Additionally, Matthew served as a Bright Green Future Alumnus at the Centre for Sustainable Energy, where they gave a keynote address at the UK's first Climate Emergency declaration.
