Rob Schmidt has a diverse background in education, sports coaching, and organizational leadership. From 1993 to 2004, Rob served as a Basketball Coach at Columbia Bible College. Rob's professional journey includes various roles at CLAC, including BC Representative and Research Specialist, National Representative, Provincial Construction and Mining Coordinator, BC Director of Training, and Regional Director for Southwestern BC and Vancouver Island from May 2000 to April 2014. Since 2020, Rob has held the position of Pension and RSP Board Trustee for the CLAC Group Retirement Savings and Pension Plan. Additionally, Rob has been a Career Facilitator at MYERT Corp from 1994 to 2000 and has been involved with Run for Water as a Board/Society Member since 2007. Academically, Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Mathematics and History from The University of British Columbia and completed a Mini-MBA at McGill University in 2010.
