Sonya Dean is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various roles within the education and legal sectors. Currently serving as a Provincial Representative at CLAC since September 2017, Sonya has also held positions as a Research Assistant and Paralegal within the same organization. Prior experience includes an internship at Hall Labour Relations Services Professional Corporation in 2017 and a lengthy tenure as a Teacher at Waterloo Region District School Board from January 1998 to June 2015. Sonya holds a Post Graduate degree in Paralegal Studies and a Certificate in Criminal Psychology from Conestoga College, as well as a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education from Western University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Nipissing University.
