Amanda Towne

Amanda Towne is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Engagement Director at CliftonLarsonAllen since April 2013, where the focus is on providing accounting and financial services to clients. Prior to this, Amanda held the position of Chief Accounting Officer at Nebraska Book Company from October 1999 to September 2012, overseeing all accounting functions, managing budgeting processes, and reviewing financial statements, while also developing internal controls and managing a team of staff. Earlier in Amanda's career, from January 1996 to October 1999, Amanda was employed at KPMG Audit as VP of Financial Reporting and Budgeting and later as Supervising Senior, where responsibilities included supervising audit engagements, preparing financial statements, and managing staff. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, earned between 1991 and 1995.
