Jim Olson

Jim Olson, CPA, is a Principal at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) since January 2019, following the merger with Schenck SC, where Olson served as Tax Services Shareholder from July 1999 to December 2018. With extensive experience in tax planning and compliance for individuals and family-held businesses, predominantly in pass-through entities, Olson has worked with a diverse clientele across manufacturing, construction, real estate, and retail sectors. Prior to Schenck SC, Olson was the Accounting Manager for Tax and Special Projects at U.S. Venture, Inc. from May 1994 to July 1999, and began a career in tax accounting as staff at Schumaker Romenesko & Associates from January 1985 to May 1994. Olson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, earned between 1981 and 1985.
