Joel Perez

Joel Perez is a seasoned public accounting professional with over 25 years of expertise in driving practice growth and building high-performing teams. Currently serving as a Principal at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), Joel leverages a strong background in audit, compliance, and consulting services for state and local governments. Previously, they held the position of Partner at RSM US LLP until August 2023 and were a Partner at Padgett, Stratemann & Co. until its acquisition in 2016. Involved in the community, Joel serves on the National Board of Directors for the Association of Latino Professionals for America and has contributed to various leadership initiatives. Educated at the University of Texas at Brownsville with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration, Joel has been recognized as a Rising Star by both the SA Business Journal and the Texas Society of CPAs.
