Mark Smith

Mark Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance and ministry leadership. Currently serving as an Outsourced Controller at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) since January 2023, Mark previously held roles including Executive Pastor of Business & Finance at Soul City Church, and Assistant Pastor at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF UNIVERSITY PARK. Mark's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Minister of Stewardship at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, where responsibilities encompassed financial management and policy development. Mark began the career in ministry as a Youth Minister at First Union Baptist Church and has also worked as an Interim Pastor. Educational credentials include a Master of Nonprofit Administration from North Park University, a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
