Matthew Charne

Matthew Charne, CPA, is currently an Audit Director at CLA, LLP, where they have continued their career since the firm's recent merger with SobelCo in February 2023. They have extensive experience in financial statement and employee benefit plan audits across various industries, including manufacturing, life sciences, and software. Matthew graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business/Management and became a licensed CPA in New Jersey in 2021. Prior to their current role, they held positions at Sobel & Co., LLC, where they advanced to Senior III, and gained experience as an Audit Associate and Intern at BDO USA, LLP, and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
