Michelle Kohls

Michelle Kohls is an experienced accountant and director in payroll and employment tax, currently serving as the Director of HR Systems and Payroll at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen). With a strong background in payroll, accounting, and client relations, Michelle has demonstrated leadership by managing teams and driving business growth in various organizations. Previously, Michelle held key roles, including Senior Manager at Sitzberger & Company and President/Managing Partner at Payroll Care, Ltd., where they co-founded a full-service payroll company and significantly expanded its client base. Michelle earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Lubar School of Business in 2005.
