Sam Hellwege

Sam Hellwege, CPA, is a seasoned professional in public accounting with extensive experience at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), where tenure began in September 2013 and progressed through roles from Senior Associate to Principal. In this capacity, Sam focuses on providing assurance services to small and medium-sized businesses, private organizations, and non-profits. Prior experience includes serving as an Accounting Intern at Principal Financial Group, where involvement in internal auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing was pivotal, and as a Financial Analyst at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, with responsibilities in financial reporting and analysis. Sam also held the position of Vice President of Finance for the Alpha Kappa Psi - Beta Phi Chapter, overseeing chapter funds and budgeting. Education includes a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Drake University, along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University Wellington.
