Sung Choi

Sung Choi is an accomplished Creative Director with extensive experience in the footwear design industry. Currently serving as Creative Director at CLAE since July 2023, Sung Choi also holds the position of Creative Director and Director of Footwear Design at Studio Southpaw, a multi-disciplinary design studio catering to notable clients such as K-Swiss, Huf Worldwide, DC Shoes, and CLAE. Previous roles include Creative Director at Sergio Tacchini (October 2020 - June 2023), Founder and Creative Director at CLAE Footwear (February 2001 - February 2016), Director of Footwear Design at Lakai Footwear (February 2001 - August 2004), Footwear Designer at DC Shoes (April 1997 - February 2001), and Partner and Designer at PNB Nation (December 1991 - October 1995). Sung Choi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University at Albany, completed in 1990, and graduated from Brooklyn Tech High School in 1986.
