Erick Rojo Ormeño

Erick Rojo Ormeño has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as Jefe de Negocios Regionales at AFP Horizonte in 1997. In 2009, they became the Director de Negocios Corporativos at BBVA Comercializadora Corporativa SAC, where they were responsible for leading 25 colaboradores. Erick then moved to Head of International Trading at Seafrost S.A.C. in 2015 and was responsible for leading the Department of International Trading and developing new clients. In 2014, they became a Catedrático de Negocios, Marketing y Derecho at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and developed student competencies for business management. In 2020, they joined Centrum PUCP as a part-time university professor. Currently, they are the Business Regional Manager USA at CLAI Payments, defining strategies for increasing business in new SaaS, IaaS, BPO, and client portfolios in the US Financial Industry. During their time at CLAI Payments, they achieved the best year of historic billing in 2021, increasing sales by more than 250% from 2020, and a 360% increase in sales, 30% in the client portfolio, and 160% in new projects acquired in the 2020/2019 period.

Erick Rojo Ormeño has a diverse educational background. Erick obtained a Licentiate degree in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in the early 2000s, followed by a Diplomatura in Gestión Empresarial from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2010. Erick then went on to pursue a Master's degree in International Business from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2011-2013, and a Magister - Distinción Beta Gamma Sigma from the Universidad del Pacífico (PE) from 2011-2013.
