Larry Cochran

Founder & CEO at Claimatic

Larry Cochran is the founder and CEO of Claimatic. Larry previously served as the owner, CEO, and chairman of IAS Claim Services. Under their leadership, IAS became one of the largest and most technology-driven, national, full service independent claims organizations in the United States providing daily, catastrophe, TPA and large loss adjusting services.

Prior to acquiring IAS, Larry spent ten years with two major international consulting firms specializing in financial, operational and strategic consulting. In addition, Larry spent six years as the general manager of a mechanical engineering and contracting firm and five years as owner and CEO of an oil and gas exploration and production company. As a consultant and CPA, in addition to helping resolve disputed commercial claims, they also assisted businesses or creditors in the turnaround, dissolution or reorganization of troubled companies.

Throughout their career, Larry has always been involved in developing and leveraging technologies to streamline business processes and gather, store and analyze business information. Larry is a member of claims related associations including the Property Loss and Research Bureau (PLRB), the National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters (NACA) and the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters (NAIIA). Larry earned their BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University as a Business School Administration Fellow. Subsequently, they obtained their CPA.

Larry has authored a number of articles on claims innovation, processes and insights published with the major insurance and claims journals.

Larry Cochran graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance.
