Joel Oksanen

Joel Oksanen is the Co-Founder and Product lead at Clair, where they focus on AI-powered assortment and demand planning for retail, helping clients achieve significant improvements in gross margin. Previously, Joel was a Founding Engineer at some frogs, where they developed an innovative social platform to combat loneliness, and a Visiting Data Scientist at Boston Consulting Group, contributing to their CO2 AI software. Joel also served as a Consultant at Imperial Consultants, leading a research project on NLP for a financial client, and has experience as a Thesis Worker at Hellon, developing AI design tools. They are currently pursuing a Doctorate at Aalto University, researching human–AI interaction in creative work. Joel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computing from Imperial College London and a Master's degree from Aalto University in International Design Business Management.
